WEINLAND in Paste Mag!

Getting to Know WEINLAND
Our dear friends (and extremely talented local musicians) have been featured in a killer article by Paste Magazine... click here to read all about it!
"The band's third LP, Breaks in the Sun, is eleven tracks of what the band does best: intelligently-crafted pop with all the fringe and loose strands left hanging, emotionally-resonant folk and country with enough edges to draw blood but with chops and melody to spare." -Paste Magazine
"Amidst all the hushed vocals and pretty, and vaguely countrified acoustic strum on display here, there are true, gripping melodies - ones that stand up to repeated listening." - Entertainment Weekly

CD and Vinyl available @ Radish Underground! Click here to purchase online.

Rockin' in Radish: Tatts and Ties

YES! RADISH TATT!

Our new friend Elizabeth came by and we were wowed by her kickass ink... and she walked out with a new Aster Park Reversible Mini Halter Dress (that perfectly matched her yellow eyeshadow I might add). If you'd like to get some new body art yourself, the man responsible for the radishes is Craig Brown-- check him out at: craigbrowntattoo.com

It was so nice to see all of you who made it out to Bargain Hunting 101 last week!! Don't forget to mark your calendars for the next BH101 shopping extravaganza on Sunday February 7th.
Our upcoming September Featured Designer BROTHER WEST (aka Spencer :-)) was my extremely dapper right hand man at the booth... and he was rocking one of the CUSTOM BOW TIES from his line "A Fine Romance" which will debut here at the store next week, First Thursday from 5pm-9pm along with the visual art of DAVID STEIN.
Spencer even embroidered a little Radish with a "U" in it on one side of this DARLING reversible bowtie!! Come to the opening to custom order one for the dapper man in your life!

My Little Fingers: Accessories by Diana Pingul

Have you met Francis Persnickety?

Don't be fazed by his finicky facade, this faintly frowning fowl simply wants to find a friend. He has fled the flock and flown far afield. As Francis sees it, he's seen it all.

But now he's tired and fancies a place to flop. So, if your heart longs for a fancy companion, then Francis will love you with wild abandon.
Handmade by My Little Fingers designer Diana Pingul in Portland, OR
Francis comes in 5 color combos!
Another of Diana's amazing creations is this fantastic & functional Reversible Sustainable Shopping Bag:
Not only will it hold all of your gear and groceries, but it tucks into it's own pocket for easy storage in your purse...
And the very best part is that the pocket is totally usable while it's in shopping bag form, from either side of the reversible design...
And don't forget the Argyle Coin Purse, Diana hand sews each one to perfection, available in three colors!

First Thursday August 6th: ERHART/Sahlia Michelle

HOORAY!!!!!!! Blogger is working again!

Thank you all for your patience, I think we all accept that even modern technology can be very trying at times.

And now back to business! Oh, so much to blog about, so little time. Let's start with the delicious images from our most recent First Thursday opening. We proudly featured local designer darling Chelsea ERHART and her "Kids with Cans" exclusive, spray painted tees and sweatshirts, and the amazing jewelry of the lovely Miss Sahlia Michelle. In attendance was another superstar (and one of our very favorite ladies on the planet) Alisa Starr, who brought her typewriter with her and made CUSTOM SNARKY CARDS for the masses (which she'll be doing on Sept. 3rd as well--tell your friends!).
